Vision:

The vision of the STDS is to promote, facilitate and develop tourism in a sustainable manner by adopting the labour based, local resources oriented and environmental friendly technique in accordance with the rights based participatory approach by networking with tourism related communities, organizations & institutions, government line agencies, local authorities, social organizations (NGOs), community based organizations, stakeholders and other related like-minded organizations to enhance the capacity and to increase the socio-economic growth of the local communities.

Mission:

The mission of STDS is to promote tourism industries for overall economic development of Sankhuwasabha District and strengthen local communities in their socio-economic status which ultimately contribute to the country development process.
